Spending their fortunes and losing their hearts.
Hardworking Australian nurse Ben Adams inherits a substantial sum and decides to tour Europe. In Monaco, the home of glamour and the idle rich, he meets French billionaire playboy Léo Artois. After getting off on the wrong foot—as happens when one accuses a stranger of being part of the Albanian mafia—their attraction blazes. Léo, born to the top tier of society, has never known limits, and Ben, used to budgeting every cent, finds it difficult to adjust to not only Léo's world, but also the changes wealth brings to his own life.
As they make allowances for each other's foibles, Ben gradually appreciates the finer things, and Léo widens his perspective. They both know one thing: this is not a typical holiday romance and they're not ready to say goodbye.

Australian nurse Ben inherits a HUGE amount of money from one of his patients. HUGE. AMOUNT. OF. MONEY. Through a lot of this book Ben comes across as someone who inherited a little bit of money and is just scraping by. He's frugal. His clothes are worn, his toe poking through his shoes. He only eats dessert at a restaurant because of the cost. Then three-quarters of the way through, when asked how much money he inherited, it was like 50 million dollars. I repeat, 50 MILLION DOLLARS. And then I was a little annoyed about his frugality. Don't get me wrong, I'm a frugal person, I get it. But, when you've inherited 50 million dollars, but you still won't pay for yourself to eat dinner at a fancy restaurant, or buy a pair of shoes that your toes don't stick out of? That's ridiculous. Anyway, back to the story. Ben has decided to use the money to travel because of all the stories his patient told him. He thought it would be a great tribute to her memory to see her favorite places and eat at her favorite restaurants. While in Monaco, he meets billionaire Leo, who sweeps Ben off his feet. Leo and Ben quickly fall into a relationship, enjoy the life of luxury, and end up with a HEA.

Ben was a normal, everyday, down-to-earth guy who seemed clueless most of the time. Unfortunately for him, he's awkward in that way that makes it embarrassing to read kind of way. He's going to be a good steward of the money given to him and not let it go to his head. He seems to be a good person, though a bit judgmental of Leo and his friends. Leo comes across as just a playboy out to have a good time and he does exactly that while showing Ben what the life of the wealthy is like.

This story was full of luxury, money, and the various pursuits of the wealthy. It had great descriptions and information on places I'll probably never see, so that was enjoyable. Ben and Leo are opposites which works out well for both of them. If you've ever wanted to get an idea of what it's like to live life as a billionaire, this book is for you.
