This is the second book in The Runaway Model trilogy and while it can be read as a standalone, I think you'd be lost if you don't read book 1 first, as many of the characters and situations from that book carry directly onto the next one. 

Kyle is rising as a model in New York and now that his stalker is dead, he can finally enjoy being in a relationship with Bryce. If only it were that easy. 

I liked this book a whole lot better than the previous one for a lot of reasons, the main ones being that the author didn't get lost in the plot this time around and that we got to see Bryce and Kyle together for longer and actually building a relationship, of course first they had to go through some hoops and loops.

The whole Michel plotline was heartbreaking, but I really loved his character and his friendship with Kyle. They were true brothers and I just loved that Bryce realized this and didn't try to get in the way of how they were with one another, but actually helped as much as he could. 

I think the part that needed a bit more expansion was with Bryce and his millions since we really didn't get much closure with it all, after it played such a big part in the plot.

There were still a few situations that were a bit over the top, but they were entertaining and the plot moved along nicely and at a good pace. The progression was good, as was the writing, and I felt more connected to the characters this time around. All in all, recommendable!
