I really enjoyed the sequel to Moment of Impact and I loved revisiting both Collin and Tanner and reading how they continue to build and work on their relationship.

Collin and Tanner are finally in Fire Island, intent on enjoying their summer together, away from school and Collin’s family. And in Collin’s case, getting a taste of how being out of the closet and able to just be Tanner’s boyfriend without having to worry over how others might take it.

I loved that while there was some growth in the characters, they essentially still read the same way as they did in the first book. The chemistry between Collin and Tanner was insane and the sex scenes were damn hot! Never mind that it was obvious how much in love they both were with each other.

I also liked most of the secondary characters, with some exceptions, they did add up to the story in all senses. Didn’t like Wendy all that much in this book and after reading the synopsis for the third book in the series, Moment of Clarity, I can’t wait to find out how she is going to impact on Tanner and Collin’s relationship.

Moment of Truth was all I expected, after such a wonderful start of the series, and more, much more. The book is amazing, sweet and hot and angsty in just the perfect proportion. My tummy was in knots during most of it, because the suspense of how it was going to play out when some things came to a head was killing and even if I had some inkling of what might happen, Karen Stivalli still managed to surprise me.  

I’ll definitely be looking forward to reading book 3 in this series!
